Severance Cap Raised to TRY 73,729.87 — Entitlement to Increases During the Notice Period
A Ministry of Treasury and Finance circular of 3 July 2026 raised the severance-pay cap for the second half of 2026 to TRY 73,729.87. The Court of Cassation also held that a worker dismissed without notice may benefit from a cap increase occurring during the notice period.
